    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To set forth requirements relating to school safety and to define certain safety measures that schools are expected to meet. Amendments will address changes as a result of the final transition to the Florida Harm Prevention and Threat Management Model and add additional requirements for emergency drills and for Alyssa’s Alert implementation. Other general matters relating to school safety monitoring, reporting, and training will also be considered, including application of safety requirements to charter, alternative and other non-traditional schools.
