The E911 Board hereby gives notice of the issuance of an Order regarding the Petition for Variance or Waiver filed by David C. Hobbs, on behalf of Jefferson County regarding the 2016 E911 Mapping Project Grant, on December 22, 2016. The Notice of Petition for Variance or Waiver was published in Vol. 42, No. 250, of the December 28, 2016, Florida Administrative Register. The Petitioner sought a variance or waiver of Rule 60FF1-5.003(3)(a), F.A.C., with respect to the rule requirement that the E911 Board Form 6A, “County E911Fiscal Information,” be post marked December 1. The Board considered the Petition at a duly-noticed public meeting held on January 18, 2017. The Boards Order, filed on February 28, 2017, grants the Petition for Variance or Waiver, finding that the purpose of the underlying statute has been achieved by submission of the E911 Form 6A. Petitioner has demonstrated that failure of the E911 Board to consider Jefferson County’s mapping program grant application would cause a substantial hardship. Based upon the foregoing, the Board determined that Petitioner is eligible for a variance or waiver of Section 60FF1-5.003(3)(a), F.A.C. The Form 6A shall be considered as having been timely filed with the application.
