    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on February 27, 2018, the Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board received a petition for variance and waiver from Richard Edward Hood. Petitioner seeks the Board waive or grant a variance to the provisions set forth in subparagraph 61J1-6.001(5)(a)2., F.A.C., and approve Petitioner’s application for Certified General Appraiser. Specifically, Petitioner seeks the Board determine that the experience defined in subsection 61J1-6.001(2), F.A.C., is accounted for in the restricted-use appraisals submitted; that the submitted restricted-use reports meet the requirements for inclusion on an experience log; and that the experience obtained meets the definition of “real property appraisal experience,” as stated in subparagraph 61J1-6.001(2)(a)2., F.A.C.
