The Florida Real Estate Commission hereby gives notice that on February 19, 2018, an Order was filed on the Petition for Variance or Waiver. The Petition for Variance or Waiver was filed by Virginia Lawson on December 7, 2017, seeking a variance or waiver of Rules 61J2-3.011 and 61J2-17.016, F.A.C., of the 7 hours of recertification education for instructor license. The Notice was published in Volume 43, No. 242 of the Florida Administrative Register on December 18, 2017.
The Commission considered the Petition at a duly-noticed public meeting held on January 17, 2018 in Orlando, Florida. At its meeting, the Commission granted the Petition finding that Petitioner did not receive timely information regarding renewal of her instructor license. Petitioner has until September 30, 2018 to complete education requirements for renewal of her instructor’s license.
