Notice of Evaluation of CPI Grant Applications
The State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Florida Coastal Management Program, announces the results of the evaluation of eligible Coastal Partnership Initiative applications. Nineteen eligible applications were received in response to the Request for Applications published in the Florida Administrative Register on 9/1/2017 and were reviewed and evaluated per the process described in Rule 62S-4.007, F.A.C. The applications have been ranked in the following order, beginning with the highest score.

Funding of any application is subject to the amount of federal coastal zone management funds awarded to the FCMP and the amount allocated to the CPI by the Florida Coastal Office. The final decision whether or not to fund these projects is expected to be made by NOAA by summer of 2018. Should additional existing funds be identified prior to the FY18 Request for CPI applications, the Florida Coastal Office will seek to fund the next highest ranked projects. Any Person whose substantial interests are affected may request a hearing pursuant to Section 120.569, Florida Statutes, within 21 days of publication of this notice. Failure to request a hearing within the period shall constitute a waiver of the right to a hearing. Questions regarding the CPI evaluation process should be directed to Toni R.
