NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on January 7, 2019, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Ramada Baymeadows at 9150 Baymeadows Rd., Jacksonville FL. Petitioner seeks an amendment to the previously granted temporary variance of the requirements of ASME A17.3, Section 3.11.3 as adopted by Rule 61C-5.001, Florida Administrative Code that requires upgrading the elevators with firefighters’ emergency operations which poses a significant economic/financial hardship. Any interested person may file comments within 14 days of the publication of this notice with Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, 2601 Blair Stone Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-1013 (VW2016-001).
