6A-5.081: School Leadership Development Programs
PURPOSE AND EFFECT: Development of this rule is needed to implement Section 1012.986, Florida Statutes by instituting the approval requirements and processes for programs that prepare school leaders, including assistant principals and principals, and programs that further the effectiveness of existing school leaders. Such programs are provided by Floridas colleges, universities and public school districts and lead to certification in Educational Leadership and School Principal.
