    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: In March 2023, additional student performance standards for Mathematics Access Points-Alternate Academic Achievement Standards (AP-AAAS) Grades K-12 will be recommended for adoption. The additional student performance standards will be added to the Access Mathematics for Data and Financial Literacy and Access Mathematics for Liberal Arts course. Course descriptions for other courses will also be revised. All Language Arts Florida Standards (LAFS) and Mathematics Florida Standards (MAFS) will be replaced with English Language Arts Expectations (EE) and Mathematical Thinking and Reasoning Standards (MTR) will be added to all courses.
