The District Board of Trustees for Florida State College at Jacksonville will act upon the following Board Rules at its next regularly scheduled monthly meeting on Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at the College’s Administrative Offices, Board Room 405, 501 West State Street, Jacksonville, FL 32202.

GENERAL SUBMECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED:
6Hx7-2.21, HIV/AIDS
The proposed action brings the Rule up to date with current practices of the College as well as Florida Statutes 1001.64, 1001.65, 1006.68 and State Board of Education Rule 6A-14.0261, F.A.C. by incorporating new language, to be effective with this action. There is no economic impact as a result of this revision.
6Hx7-3.9, Physical Psychiatric and/or Psychological Examination
The proposed action recommends the deletion of the Rule in its entirety as the language is currently included in all contracts. This language is reflected in proposed changes to Administrative Procedure Manual (APM) 03-0312, Physical Examinations, to be effective with this action. There is no economic impact as a result of this revision.
6Hx7-3.13, Internship
The proposed action recommends the deletion of the Rule in its entirety as this process is outdated and no longer used for employees to intern, to be effective with this action. There is no economic impact as a result of this revision.
6Hx7-3.14, Reinstatement
The proposed action recommends the deletion of the Rule in its entirety as the language is now addressed in Board Rule 6Hx7-3.3, Pay Plan, Section 6, to be effective with this action. There is no economic impact as a result of this revision.
6Hx7-3.15, Reclassification of Positions
The proposed action recommends the deletion of the Rule in its entirety as the Rule is now set forth in APM
03-0701, Position Reclassification, to be effective with this action. There is no economic impact as a result of this revision.
6Hx7-3.16, Reassignment
The proposed action recommends the deletion of the Rule in its entirety as the Rule is now set forth in APM 03-1101, Employee Lateral Transfer Request and Employee Reassignment – Career, Professional & Administrative, to be effective with this action. There is no economic impact as a result of this revision.
6Hx7-10.3, Student Registration
The proposed action allows the College to create a Rule to reflect current business practices and ensure the College is up to date with applicable Florida Statues and State Board of Education Rules, to be effective with this action. There is no economic impact as a result of this revision.

Copies of the Rules will be available for inspection beginning March 13, 2015, in the Office of the College President, Room 408, 501 West State Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32202.
