64B16-28.608Automated Filling Systems within a Pharmacy
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on March 16, 2015, the Board of Pharmacy received a petition for variance or waiver of Rule 64B16-28.608, F.A.C., filed by Publix Super Markets, Inc., requesting that in the event Publix Central Fill Pharmacy’s Triple Scan System verification process is not declared to be an electronic verification process, the Board then permanently waive the rule’s requirements as applied to unit of use drugs which do not fit into the automated dispensing system. The Board will consider this petition at its meeting currently scheduled for April 8, 2015.
