    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of the amendment to Rule 59G-4.085, Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.), is to incorporate by reference the Florida Medicaid Early Interventions Services Coverage Policy. The incorporated coverage policy will specify recipient eligibility, provider requirements, service coverage, and reimbursement information.

    SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Early Intervention Services. An additional area to be addressed during the workshop will be the potential regulatory impact Rule 59G-4.085, Florida Administrative Code, will have as provided for under sections 120.54 and 120.541, Florida Statutes.

    59G-4.085 Early Intervention Services.

    (1) This rule applies to all providers rendering Florida Medicaid early intervention services to recipients.

    (2) All providers must be in compliance with the provisions of the Florida Medicaid Early Intervention Services Coverage Policy, __________August 2017, incorporated by reference. The policy is available on the Agency for Health Care Administration’s website at http://ahca.myflorida.com/Medicaid/review/index.shtml, and at http://www.flrules.org/Gateway/reference.asp?No=Ref-__________08494.

    (3) This rule is in effect for 5 years from its effective date.
