64B9-15.007Approval and Renewal of New Certified Nursing Assistant Training Programs
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on March 13, 2019, the Board of Nursing, received a petition for variance and waiver filed on behalf of Osceola Technical College #1341, from subsections 64B9-15.007(1) and (3), F.A.C. The rule requires that each program be approved by the Board prior to being offered and each program must submit a renewal application every-two years to the Board within sixty (60) days prior to December 31 of each even numbered calendar year. If a program fails to timely file a renewal application, the Board shall rescind the approval. Variance and waiver is requested based on the premise that the renewal request was filed within thirty (30) days of the applicable deadline and the renewal license was issued January 24, 2019. Comments on this petition should be filed with the Board of Nursing, 4052 Bald Cypress Way, Bin #C02, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-3252, within 14 days of publication of this notice.
