64B9-15.007Approval and Renewal of New Certified Nursing Assistant Training Programs
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on March 12, 2019, the Board of Nursing, received a petition for variance and waiver filed on behalf of Lake Technical College #1532, from subsection 64B9-15.007(3), F.A.C. The rule requires that each program must submit a renewal application every-two years to the Board within sixty (60) days prior to December 31 of each even numbered calendar year. If a program fails to timely file a renewal application, the Board shall rescind the approval. Lake is requesting a waiver of the rule due to the tardiness of the submission of the renewal application and that the action to rescind the program will have an impact with the medical communities in Lake County. Comments on this petition should be filed with the Board of Nursing, 4052 Bald Cypress Way, Bin #C02, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-3252, within 14 days of publication of this notice.
