NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on March 11, 2020, the Suwannee River Water Management District, received a petition for a variance from Adam Collins, agent for Richard Said, 206 25th Ave N, St Petersburg, FL. Pursuant to Section 120.542, F.S., Petitioner is seeking a variance from subsections 40B-4.3030(4) and 40B-4.3030(7), F.A.C., which provide that buildings in the floodway shall be elevated on piles without the use of fill and the maximum fill allowed on a property is 100 square feet of the cross-sectional area of the floodway. The applicant is requesting to construct a five foot high driveway and to add fill under the footprint of the proposed house. The project is located in Section 28, Township 6S, Range 14E, in Lafayette County and has been assigned permit number ERP-067-235685-1, Said Residence.
