NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on March 18, 2013, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for First Baptist Church of Plant City. Petitioner seeks a variance of the requirements of ASME A17.1, Section 8.6.4.8.2, as adopted by 61C-5.001(1), Florida Administrative Code that requires articles or materials not necessary for the maintenance or operation of the elevator shall not be store in machinery spaces, machine rooms, control spaces, and control rooms which poses a significant economic/financial hardship.
