GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: District staff shall provide information regarding the proposed surplus of a vacant land parcel containing 20.41 acres, more or less, located on Canoe Creek Road in St. Cloud, Osceola County, Florida. The proposed surplus of this parcel resulted from the due diligence following the land assessment process conducted in 2013 in which staff conducted a comprehensive and detailed look at the District’s land inventory to ensure that the present and future use of these lands will be utilized in the most effective manner to support the District’s core mission requirements, and to comply with other important state policy objectives. Public input and comment will be received. More information about the process is available at www.sfwmd.gov/landassessment.
