    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The purpose of the study is to identify and evaluate potential sites for a new transportation hub in Lakeland that would serve multiple local and intercity transit services. The PAC will serve as an advisory review committee of work efforts at key milestones with four PAC meetings envisioned throughout the study. The first PAC meeting was held on February 4, 2019. The PAC will provide feedback on facility requirements, assist with the screening and ranking of potential sites, and provide input on the conceptual design and layout of stations. They will also assist in identifying and engaging with community members and other stakeholders.

    The second PAC meeting is scheduled to take place at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 in the Lakeland Electric Utility Conference Room at 501 East Lemon Street. The Project Team will provide an overview data collected to date and a summary of the first PAC meeting. We will also further discuss facility requirements and evaluation criteria, the project’s purpose and need, and preliminary site locations.
