NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on February 16, 2012, the Board of Psychology issued a Final Order on the petition for declaratory statement filed by Katherine S. Westie, Ph.D. The Notice of the Petition was published in Vol. 37, No. 43, October 28, 2011, issue of the Florida Administrative Weekly. The Board reviewed the Petition at its telephonic meeting held on November 18, 2011. The Board’s Final Order finds that under the circumstances outlined in the Petition, the Petitioner is not precluded from continuing to treat the few long term patients by videoconference or telephone when she retires and moves to Michigan, with periodic face-to-face meetings when she is in Miami, Florida.
