62-701.710Waste Processing Facilities

The Department of Environmental Protection hereby gives notice that on March 18, 2014, HAS Golden on behalf of the Florida Roof Recycling Materials Recovery Facility, Orange County, withdrew a petition for variance or waiver that had been submitted on December 6, 2013. The Petitioner had requested a waiver from paragraph 62-701.710(7)(a), F.A.C., which requires that owners and operators of waste processing facilities provide financial assurance in the amount of the closing cost estimate for the facility. The Petitioner has decided to provide financial assurance required by the rule rather than seek a variance.
