NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on March 18, 2015, the Division of Funeral, Cemetery, and Consumer Services, received a petition for waiver of certain provisions of Rules 69K-18.002 and 18.003, FAC. The petition was filed on behalf of Vancinia Jones, who is seeking to become a licensed funeral director and embalmer. The requirements for this licensure require the applicant complete a one year internship. The rule provides for only one internship per lifetime. The applicant is requesting that rule be waived and that she be afforded an additional one year internship, which may prevent a substantial hardship from occurring.
