    The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District 1 announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: March 29, 2018, 4:00 p.m.6:00 p.m.

    PLACE: Charlotte County-Punta Gorda Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), 25550 Harborview Road, Meeting Rooms A-B, Port Charlotte, FL 33980

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: FDOT will hold a Public Information Workshop to provide information about the proposed improvements to Harborview Road from Melbourne Street to I-75. The workshop will be an open house format with a continuous video presentation. People attending the meeting may review project displays and aerial photographs, and speak one-on-one with project team members. Parking is easily accessible and located directly adjacent from the building. The department sent notices to all property owners located at least 300 feet on either side of the Harborview Road project limits, and any other interested persons.

The meeting is developed in compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related statutes. FDOT solicits public participation without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by FDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. §327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 14, 2016 and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
