    The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The workshop meeting will offer an overview and a question and answer session regarding the 2018 State of Florida Action Plan to be submitted for approval to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Grant programs included in the Action Plan are administered by four state agencies: the Florida Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity; the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) by the Florida Department of Children and Families; the Home Investment Partnership (HOME) and National Housing Trust Fund (HTF) by the Florida Housing Finance Corporation and the Housing Opportunities for Persons with Aids (HOPWA) by the Florida Department of Health.

    ACTION TO BE TAKEN: At the workshop meeting to be held on April 4, 2018, staff from the CDBG, ESG, HOME, HTF and HOPWA programs will provide an overview of the programs and answer questions. Interested parties are encouraged to attend.
