    Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board

The Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board hereby gives notice: of the issuance of an Order regarding the Petition for Variance or Waiver, filed on January 22, 2019, by Suzanne Seashell Long. The Notice of Petition for Waiver or Variance was published in Vol. 45, No. 19, of the January 29, 2019 Florida Administrative Register. Petitioner sought a variance or waiver of Rule 61J1-10.003, Florida Administrative Code, regarding education requirements. The Board considered the instant Petition at a duly-noticed public meeting held on February 4, 2019, in Orlando, Florida. The Board’s Order, filed on March 13, 2019, granted the petition. The Board found that the Petitioner had established that the purpose of the underlying statute, 475.614, F.S., would be met were the Petitioner to be granted a variance from the rule. The Petitioner further established that the Board’s application of Rule 61J1-10.003, Florida Administrative Code, to Petitioner’s circumstances would impose substantial hardship.
