FLORIDA CATEGORICAL EXCLUSION NOTICE
City of Lake Wales
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has determined that the City of Lake Wales’ drinking water project involving construction of the State Road 60 westerly water main expansion is not expected to generate controversy over potential environmental effects. The total estimated construction cost is $2,600,000. The project may qualify for a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund loan comprised of federal and state funds. DEP will consider public comments about the environmental impacts of the proposed project that are postmarked or delivered at the address below within 30 days of this notice.
