NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that March 21, 2016, the Board of Professional Engineers has received the petition for declaratory statement from Mr. and Mrs. Tom Shoquist. The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of 471.005(7) and 471.031(1)(a) FS., as it applies to the petitioner.

Petitioners seek the Board’s determination as to whether, as defined in these statutes, construction inspections, where the inspection is on-site and to determine the percentage of work completed on a new, permitted construction project in accordance with the drawings and specifications, required to be performed by a licensed engineer or an architect. Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after publication of this notice.
