NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on March 17, 2016, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Palazzo in Pelican Preserve located in Ft. Myers, Florida. Petitioner seeks an emergency variance of the requirements of ASME A17.1, Section 3.4.5 as adopted by subsection 61C-5.001(1), F.A.C., that requires a minimum of 48 inch clearance at the top of the car which poses a significant economic/financial hardship.
