    Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board

The Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board hereby gives notice that on March 13, 2017, an Order was filed on the Petition for Variance and Waiver. The Petition for Variance and Waiver was filed by John C. Gibilaro, on December 19, 2016, requesting a variance from the requirements in paragraph 61J1-4.010(1)(b)(c), F.A.C., that he be state-certified in the same jurisdiction as the trainee appraiser for a minimum of four (4) years. The Notice was published in Volume 43, No. 4, of the Florida Administrative Register, on January 6, 2017. The Board, at its meeting held on February 13, 2017, voted to grant the Petition for Variance or Waiver finding that the Petitioner has established that the purpose of the underlying statute has been met and that application of the rule to the petitioner’s circumstances would violate the principles of fairness or would impose substantial hardship.
