    Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board

The Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board hereby gives notice that on January 17, 2017, an Order was filed on the Petition for Variance and Waiver. The Petition was filed by Lawrence Hank Zegers, on November 15, 2016, seeking a variance or waiver of paragraph 61J1-4.010(1)(c), F.A.C., that he be state-certified for a minimum of four (4) years. The Notice was published in Volume 42, No. 225, of the Florida Administrative Register, on November 18, 2016. The Board, at its meeting held on December 5, 2016, voted to grant the Petition for Variance or Waiver finding that the Petitioner has established that the purpose of the underlying statute, Section 475.617, Fla. Stat., would be met were the Petitioner to be granted a variance from the rule. Petitioner further established that the Board’s application of the rule to Petitioner’s circumstances would violate the principles of fairness or would impose substantial hardship.
