GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Department of Transportation is conducting a study to evaluate the widening of US 301 from just south of County Road (CR) 470 East to State Road (SR) 44, a distance of approximately 7.8 miles in Sumter County. This includes evaluating the need to create a truck route around the City of Coleman to lessen the movement of heavy truck traffic through that community. The purpose of the PAG is to facilitate ongoing community dialogue in the study process and to provide opportunities for the community to assist in developing and evaluating project alternatives.
