SUMMARY: This emergency rule describes the GROUPER® Promotion that will begin on March 28, 2016 and continue through May 22, 2016.

THE FULL TEXT OF THE EMERGENCY RULE IS:

 

53ER16-15 GROUPER® Promotion.

(1) Beginning March 28, 2016, and continuing through May 22, 2016, the Florida Lottery will conduct the GROUPER® Promotion. During the promotion period, players must ask a Florida Lottery retailer for a “GROUPER®” play to receive five (5) Quick Pick tickets for $5.00 ( a $6.00 value), except as provided in subsection (3) below.  A GROUPER® play is comprised of one (1) ticket of each of the following five (5) online terminal games:

(a) $1 FLORIDA LOTTO®;

(b) $2 FANTASY 5® with EZmatch™;

(c) $1 CASH 3™ Straight/Box;

(d) $1 PLAY 4™ Straight/Box; and

(e) FREE $1 LUCKY MONEY™.

(2) The tickets in a GROUPER® play will be for the next available drawing and cannot be player-selected or canceled.

(3) If the Quick Pick numbers selected for either the CASH 3™ or PLAY 4™ game have been cut off for the day due to the game’s liability limit being reached, the ticket or tickets for the affected game or games will not print.  In such instance, the player’s purchase price will be automatically adjusted and the player will receive the remaining GROUPER® tickets, including the promotional FREE $1 LUCKY MONEY™ ticket.

THIS RULE TAKES EFFECT UPON BEING FILED WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE UNLESS A LATER TIME AND DATE IS SPECIFIED IN THE RULE.
