    The State Board of Administration announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.
    DATE AND TIME: Tuesday, April 5, 2011, 9:00 a.m. – until conclusion
    PLACE: Cabinet Meeting Room, Lower Level, The Capitol, Monroe Street and Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee, Florida
    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Trustees of the State Board of Administration, on April 5, 2011, will consider proposed amendments to the following rules and will be asked for permission to file for notice: Rule 19-11.002, F.A.C., Beneficiary Designation for FRS Investment Plan; Rule 19-11.003, F.A.C., Distributions from FRS Investment Plan Accounts; and Rule 19-11.009, F.A.C., Reemployment with an FRS-covered Employer after Retirement. The proposed amendments provide updated information and procedures pertaining to naming beneficiaries and to seeking documentation of disbursements made prior to a certain date; indicate that a beneficiary who intentionally kills or procures the death of a member forfeits all rights to the member’s benefits; provide updated information applicable to employees who are rehired after retirement; and adopt a form. A rule development workshop was offered on January 3, 2011, but it was not requested and so was not held.
