  • The Suwannee River Water Management District announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.
    DATE AND TIME: April 13, 2010, 9:00 a.m.
    PLACE: Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites, 601 Everett Way, Perry, FL 32348
    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: Board meeting to consider District business and conduct public hearings on regulatory and land acquisition matters. Public hearing in accordance with Section 373.59, F.S., concerning the proposed acquisition of the Kevin and Patrice Jackson Conservation Easement, 150 acres +/- Lafayette County, Florida, with funds from the Florida Forever Trust Fund; also the proposed acquisition of the N. G. Wade/Gilchrist County Wellfield Tract, 105 acres +/-, Gilchrist County, Florida, with funds from the Florida Forever Trust Fund; also the proposed acquisition of the Osceola Land & Timber Corp./Santa Fe Ranch Addition, 463 acres +/-, Alachua County, Florida, with funds from the Florida Forever Trust Fund. A workshop will follow the Board meeting. The next day there will be a trip to Northwest Florida Water Management District.
