Notice Regarding Written Comments to the Big Cypress Swamp Advisory Committee
The Big Cypress Swamp Advisory Committee has provided notice of a public meeting on March 31, 2014 in order to evaluate a pending application in Department file 1353-H, submitted by Dan A. Hughes Company, L.P., to drill in the Big Cypress watershed and explore for hydrocarbons. A copy of the pending application may be obtained at http://www.dep.state.fl.us/water/mines/oil_gas/drill-apps.htm. The Committee has received and will continue to receive and consider written public comments regarding that application. In order to assure timely delivery of comments to the Committee in advance of that meeting, commenting parties are requested to provide written comments no later than 5:00 p.m. EST on March 28, 2014.
