    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on March 21, 2014, the Office of Early Learning, received a petition for waiver, filed by the Early Learning Coalition of Florida’s Gateway. The Petitioner seeks a waiver from the provisions of Rule 6M-8.204, F.A.C., as it relates to the requirement that VPK providers be paid for student attendance during emergency closure only when a state of emergency is declared by federal, state or local officials. Any interested person may file comments on this petition within 14 days of the publication of this notice. Comments should be filed with the Office of Early Learning, VPK Program and Policy, 250 Marriott Drive, Tallahassee, Florida 32399.
