    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on March 21, 2024, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Bentley Village PH 6 at 2207 Viewpoint Dr, Naples, FL. Petitioner seeks an emergency variance of the requirements of ASME A17.1, 2016 Edition, Section 2.7.3.1.1 and FBC 3005.1, 2020, edition, as adopted by 61C-5.001, Florida Administrative Code that requires a permanent and unobstructed means of access shall be provided to machine and control rooms, machinery and control spaces outside the hoistway, machinery and control spaces inside the hoistway that do not have a means of access to the space and an approved means of access shall be provided to elevator machine rooms, control rooms, control spaces and machinery spaces which poses a significant economic/financial hardship. Any interested person may file comments within 5 days of the publication of this notice with Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, 2601 Blair Stone Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-1013 (VW2024-048).
