    State Plan Amendment

The Agency for Health Care Administration announces that it is requesting an amendment to the Medicaid State Plan. The amendment will be to reflect changes to the Medically Needy program eligibility requirements effective January 1, 2014. The changes are to eliminate the asset limit for pregnant women, children under the age of 21, and parents and caretaker relatives of children under the age of 18, and to align the Medically Needy Income Levels, which are the same for both family and SSI-Related Medicaid coverage groups, with the changes in Medicaid income eligibility limits resulting from implementation of Affordable Care Act requirements.
