    The Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: FloridaNet has hosted a series of statewide listening sessions to brief first responders, public safety technologists, and government leaders on FirstNet.

    This meeting will allow a review of the input received from those meetings as well as other agenda items. The agenda follows:

    1. Review and discuss input from the Statewide Listening Workshops

    2. Discuss FloridaNet’s need for independent legal counsel

    3. Provide direction on a FloridaNet approach for vendor demonstration requests

    4. Discuss RFI review process

    5. Review major project efforts underway

    a. Data gathering requirements of the grant

    b. Updates on project support and project infrastructure efforts underway

    c. Technical Committee updates

    d. Project to produce a FloridaNet/FirstNet information video

    e. Technical planning

    f. Data handling and security

    6. Review project budget
