GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: In order to receive SCSEP funds, the Older Americans Act (OAA) requires each state to submit a State Plan that includes a four-year strategy for the statewide provision of community services and other authorized activities for eligible individuals under the SCSEP. The OAA also requires that each state submit modifications to the State Plan not less than every two years.
The Florida Department of Elder Affairs is soliciting comments from the public regarding the 2016-2019 Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) State Plan Modification, in compliance with 20 C.F.R. 641.340. The 2016-2019 SCSEP State Plan, Addendums, and Modification are available for review at. The Department of Elder Affairs will be collecting comments from any person who wishes to submit their input on the 2016-2019 SCSEP State Plan Modification.
Comments must be submitted to: Kira Houge, SCSEP State Director, at hougek@elderaffairs.org, no later than Monday, April 2, 2018 at 5:00 p.m.
