NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on March 27, 2017, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Boca Highlands Beach Club and Marina at 4801 S Ocean Blvd., Highland Beach, FL. Petitioner seeks a permanent variance of the requirements of ASME A17.1, Sections 2.8.1 and 2.8.2.2, as adopted by subsection 61C-5.001(1), Florida Administrative Code, that prohibits foreign equipment in the machine room which poses a significant economic/financial hardship.
