    SBA Audits of the Financial Statements of the Florida Retirement System (FRS) Pension Trust Fund and Investment Plan Trust Fund


    The State Board of Administration of Florida (the “SBA”) has solicited competitive responses from licensed independent Certified Public Accounting firms with sufficient resources to conduct audits of the financial statements for the Florida Retirement System (FRS) pension Trust Fund and the FRS Investment Trust Fund, effective as of June 30, 2017. The Invitation to Negotiate (the “ITN”) is available and may be obtained from the SBA’s website at under “Vendors”. The SBA reserves the right to reject any and all responses and to cancel the above ITN at any time. The deadline for submitting requests for clarification is 5:00 p.m. (EST), March 15, 2016. The deadline for submitting responses is 5:00 p.m. (EST), March 29, 2016. The SBA announces the following meeting dates, times and locations with respect to this ITN. A meeting will be held on March 31, 2016, to discuss the responses received, and to designate short-listed respondents for interviews and/or onsite visits (if necessary), and further consideration. Interviews and/or onsite visits will be held, if necessary, in April. A meeting will be held on May 16, 2016, to select a firm to provide audit services for the SBA. All audit firm selection meetings are open to the public and shall take place at the times and location shown below:

    TIME: Unless otherwise provided on the SBA's website, all meetings shall begin at 9:00 a.m. (EST) and continue until the meeting is concluded. The actual meeting dates and times will be posted on the SBA’s website at at least 7 days prior to the meeting.

    LOCATION: The meetings shall take place in the Hermitage Room (1st Floor), 1801 Hermitage Blvd., Tallahassee, Florida 32308.

    Any changes to the above meeting dates and/or times (including the cancellation of any meeting) will be posted on the SBA’s website at at least 7 days prior to the meeting.
