    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on March 16, 2012, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Beaches and Coastal Systems, received a petition for a waiver, pursuant to Section 120.542, Florida Statutes, and Chapter 28-104, F.A.C., from subsection 62B-33.005(8), F.A.C., which states that major structures be located a sufficient distance landward of the beach and frontal dune to permit natural shoreline fluctuation, to preserve and protect beach and frontal dune system stability, and to allow natural recovery to occur following storm-induced erosion. The petition was received from Douglas Mann, Coastal Planning & Engineering, on behalf of Amgad and Nermeen Girgis regarding PB-1041. The property, 4121 South Ocean Boulevard, Highland Beach, Palm Beach County, FL.
