    12-9.002Certified Florida Property Appraiser/Certified Florida Evaluator and Certified Florida Collector/Certified Florida Collector Assistant Program

    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of this rule development is to remove a provision that states that one of the duties of the admissions and certification committees specified under Rule Chapter 12-9 is to “prescribe policy regarding applicant requirements.” The effect of this rule development is that the responsibilities of these admissions and certification committees are clarified.

    THE PRELIMINARY TEXT OF THE PROPOSED RULE DEVELOPMENT IS:

     

    12-9.002 Certified Florida Property Appraiser/Certified Florida Evaluator and Certified Florida Collector/Certified Florida Collector Assistant Program.

    (1) through (3) No change.

    (4) The duties of the committee shall be:

    (a) To prescribe policy regarding applicant requirements;

    (a)(b) To screen all applicants for certification;

    (b)(c) To recommend to the Department applicants who qualify for the professional designations; and

    (c)(d) To perform other duties pertaining to the fair and equitable operation of these programs.
