6A-1.0018School Safety Requirements and Monitoring

PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To provide school districts and K-12 schools, including charter schools, with notice of the Office of Safe Schools’ procedures for monitoring and addressing issues of suspected noncompliance with safety requirements, including required reporting and training. The rule will also set forth requirements relating to school safety and to define certain safety measures that schools are expected to meet. Other general matters relating to school safety will also be considered.
