PLACE: Starting location: St. Johns River Water Management District Palm Bay Service Center, 525 Community College Parkway S.E., Palm Bay, Florida 32909. The location of the site visit may be changed due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances. GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The purpose of the visit is to demonstrate current District efforts to improve the water quality and health of the Indian River Lagoon. The visit will include inspection of a stormwater treatment park currently under construction along Sottile Canal, as well a review of some of the District efforts within the lagoon, such as real-time water quality sensors and seagrass transect activities. The visit will end with an inspection of the lower Eau Gallie River basin.
