The Florida Department of Environmental Protection has determined that the Town of Hillsboro Beachs project to rehabilitate existing water supply wells and construct a new water treatment plant will not adversely affect the environment. The total cost of the project is estimated to be $5,985,068. The project may qualify for a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund loan composed of federal funds and state funds.
