The Florida State College at Jacksonville District Board of Trustees announces the following meetings and campus tour for Tuesday, March 11, 2014, which are open to the public. All meetings of the Board will be held at the College’s South Campus, Nathan H. Wilson Center for the Arts, 11901 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32246.
TRUSTEE TRAINING RETREAT:
DATE AND TIME: Tuesday, March 11, 2014, 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 Noon
PLACE: Room M-1142 (Woodside Room)
GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: Trustee training.
REGULAR MONTHLY BOARD MEETING:
DATE AND TIME: Tuesday, March 11, 2014, 12:00 Noon – 2:00 p.m.
PLACE: Room M-1140 (Lakeside Room)
GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: Regular meeting.
CAMPUS TOUR:
DATE AND TIME: Tuesday, March 11, 2014, immediately following the DBOT regular monthly meeting.
PLACE: South Campus
GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: Tour of South Campus.
Copies of the agenda for the regular monthly Board meeting will be available for inspection beginning Tuesday, March 4, 2014, and copies will be provided upon written request and the payment of approved duplicating charges. Any person requesting to address agenda items at the Board of Trustees meeting will be provided an opportunity to do so by appearing before the Board at the meeting. All legal issues should be brought to the College’s attention and an attempt made to resolve them prior to the public meeting. Any person requesting to appeal a decision made by the Board with respect to any matter considered at this meeting will need a record of the proceeding for such an appeal and may, therefore, need to ensure that a verbatim record is made.
All objections to this notice should be filed in writing with the College President, Florida State College at Jacksonville, on or before March 11, 2014.
