The Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles announces public meetings to which all persons are invited.

DATES AND TIMES: March 31, 2014, 8:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.; April 1, 2014, 8:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: FloridaNet is hosting a series of statewide listening sessions to brief first responders, public safety technologists, and government leaders on FirstNet.

The sessions will provide an overview of FloridaNet’s response to FirstNet. We will gather input from all participants on developing FloridaNet’s response.

March 31, 2014: 8:30 a.m. session #1 for First Responder/Public Safety; 1:00 p.m. session for Technologists.

April 1, 2014: 8:30 a.m. session for Leadership/Elected Officials; 1:00 p.m. session #2 for First Responder/Public Safety.
