NOTICE OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE
In accordance with paragraph 337.401(3)(d), FS, notice is hereby given that the County Council of Volusia County, Florida, will hold a public hearing for the first reading on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, 10:05 a.m. in the County Council Chambers, Thomas C. Kelly Administration Building, in said County, for the purpose of adopting a proposed ordinance governing a telecommunications company placing or maintaining telecommunications facilities in its roads or rights-of-way.

SUBJECT: An ordinance of the county council of Volusia county, Florida, amending the code of ordinances of the county of Volusia; providing for regulation of small wireless facilities in county rights-of-way in conformance with federal and state law; creating section 94-2, small wireless facilities in rights-of-way; providing for definitions; providing for use permit process; providing for requirements and conditions to use permit; providing for objective design standards; providing for pole attachment fee; providing for enforcement; providing for severability; providing for conflicting ordinances; authorizing inclusion in code; and providing an effective date.
