INVITATION TO BID
The State of Florida, Department of Military Affairs (DMA), Construction & Facility Management Office (CFMO) requests bids from State of Florida registered licensed General or Building Contractors (GC) for the following project located at the Brooksville National Guard Armory, Brooksville, Florida.

PROJECT: 212060 Brooksville National Guard Armory Renovation, Brooksville, Florida
FUNDING: The State of Florida's performance and obligation to pay under this contract is contingent upon availability of funding and an annual appropriation by the Legislature.
BID OPENING DATE: As stated on the Vendor Bid System (late bids will not be accepted)
MANDATORY PRE-BID/SITE VISIT DATE: As stated on the Vendor Bid System
STATEMENT OF WORK: This project involves renovation of the existing 23,345 SF Brooksville National Guard Armory and the construction of a new, accessory detached 1,800 SF Unit Storage building. The scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to: upgrading the building for life safety, handicap accessibility, energy efficiency and Owner’s functional requirements. The armory renovation is to achieve a LEED Silver certification. Highlights of the project includes: site upgrades and landscaping, installation of energy efficient and impact rated doors & windows, new interior finishes, new building insulation and insulated built-up roofing system, new energy efficient HVAC equipment, all plumbing and plumbing fixtures, all new electrical wiring and electrical devices and all new energy efficient lighting.
The Department reserves the right to reject any and all submissions or accept minor irregularities in the best interest of the DMA.
