    62-604.400Design/Performance Considerations

    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on November 25, 2013, the Department of Environmental Protection, received a petition for a variance from Forest Utilities, Inc., requesting relief from subparagraph 62-604.400(2)(a)1., F.A.C., which requires sewage pump stations that receive flow from one or more pump stations through a force main or pump stations discharging through pipes 12 inches or larger to have uninterrupted pumping capabilities, including an in-place emergency generator. The Petitioner instead requests to be able to use a portable generator stored off-site to provide emergency power at the following specific pump station: The Forest Master Re-Pump station to be located at Latitude: 26° 30' 49" N, Longitude: 81° 51' 21" W, which is near 5808 Elizabeth Ann Way, Fort Myers, Lee County, FL 33912. This pump station serves the Jamaica Bay Manufactured Homes Community located at 15235 South Tamiami Trail, Fort Myers, Lee County, FL 33908. The Petition has been assigned OGC File No. 13-1438. Written comments must be received by the person below no later than 14 days from the date of publication of this notice.
